Kasoa Missing Manhood Brouhaha: 30 arrested, 5 jailed as one suspect perishes
Following accusations of taking missing penises at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, thirty people have been detained, five have been sentenced to jail by the Awutu Bereku District Court, and one person is very ill after he was attacked as a suspect.
According to a report filed by Mireku Nyanpong on Kessben FM, the Central East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Owusu Bempah said one of the victims passed away immediately after being lynched by Kasoa Walantu villagers over the missing penis controversy.
DCOP Owusu Bempah noted that the incarceration terms vary from three months to a year.
