Asante Kotoko Woes: Veteran Broadcaster, Sir Joe Laka calls for something radical to happen
Celebrated Ghanaian Sports Broadcaster Mr Kwabena Gyamfi widely known as Sir Joe Laka has called for radical action in the club following the bad run of results of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the last 10 games.
Joe Laka is afraid that if changes are not made, the club’s poor run may continue to the end of the season.
The International Football Federation of History and Statistics (IFFHS) Africa’s club of the century has only won one game in its last 9 Premier League games in the 2nd round leaving them at the 11th position on the Premier League Table after matchday 26.
At the end of the first round, Asante Kotoko were third on the premier league table with 29 points.
They have only picked 4 points out of a possible 27 points (9) games in the 2nd round.
Sir Joe Laka reacting to the bad run of results supervised by head coach Prosper Ogum Narteh stressed that a revolutionary action must be taken to get the club in the right shape.
