Abena Kwartemaa has revealed that her feet got swollen during her attempt to break the longest cooking marathon at the Noks Hotel in Kumasi a fortnight ago.
In Her bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, Abena went 23 days on the grind in the Kitchen leading to swollen feet.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Music Plus with Mr Bonez, Abena rubbished reports circulated in social media during her attempt that she was at a point sleeping while cooking.
According to her, the videos that found their way on social media purported to be her sleeping were edited videos that were made up just to make fun of her by some critics.
Abena noted that after her attempt, she has 22 days to submit her files/evidence to the Guinness World Record and together with her team are currently compiling them for the final submission within the time frame.
The longest cooking marathon by an individual lasted 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds. It was achieved by an Irish chef named Alan Fisher in October 2023.
