‘Let’s unite & use our influence to attract investors’ – Asamoah Gyan pleads

Asamoah Gyan, a former captain of the Black Stars, Ghana’s senior national football team, is calling on other legendary athletes to band together to support the growth of sports in the country.

Gyan stressed the importance of legends banding together to pool their resources and influence to draw in investors in a post on X. He thinks that this partnership will have a significant effect on young people who play sports like football, boxing, and athletics.

“I believe the time has come for Legends in sports to come together and use their influence, network and resources in attracting investors into our country and make a meaningful impact on our youth in the sports fraternity I.e football, boxing and other athletics. I strongly believe that engaging our youth and grooming them through these avenues can get them to be more focused, make sports more fun and attractive and eventually bring us together once again just as it use to be in past. I have started this journey and I humbly invite all my colleagues to join in this cause in reclaiming our football days” He said.
