Sports Journalists & Unhappy football fans hit the streets to protest against Ghana FA
Some Ghanaian sports journalists and football fans, dissatisfied with the way football is run in their nation, have peacefully demonstrated in the streets of Accra to vent their frustration.
The ardent football supporters, known as the “Save Ghana Football” demo, marched to the GFA office with a petition sent to the National Sports Council (NSA), the Sports Ministry, and the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Prominent figures from the entertainment, sports, and political domains attended the protests
The demonstration aims to demand quick fixes for the issues plaguing Ghanaian football, which led to the embarrassing country’s elimination from the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
