Akufo Addo finally ‘sacks’ Ofori Atta from the finance ministry & replaced with Amin Adam, Oppong Nkrumah removed

A significant government reshuffle was announced on Wednesday, February 14, and included the removal of Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The reshuffle has impacted about 13 of the current ministers of state, including 10 cabinet members and 2 regional ministers.

Following the Government’s reorganization, President Akufo-Addo has proposed the names of the following individuals for appointment as Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State in accordance with articles 78, 79, and 256, respectively, of the Constitution to Parliament for approval in advance through the Speaker, Rt.
