Raising a girl child: Children pick habits, don’t preach ‘A and practice B’ – Christiana Naa Lartey tells Parents
Ghanaian parent Christiana Naa Lartey has emphasized the importance of leading by example in raising the girl child.
Speaking on Mmaa Nkabi on Kessben TV with host Akua Yeboah, she noted that children are more likely to imitate behavior than follow verbal instructions.
“Children pick habits, don’t preach A and practice B,” she stated, urging parents and guardians to model the values they wish to instill in young girls.
She stressed that consistency between words and actions is key to shaping responsible and confident children, particularly in today’s fast-changing social environment.
