MP for Upper Denkyira accused of taking credit of NDC completed projects as his achievement
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Upper Denkyira East Constituency has accused its Member of Parliament, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie for taking credit of the projects he did not do in the constituency.
They said those programs was done and completed by the NDC administration.
According to them, all the projects started by Former President Mahama and their Municipal Chief executive Madam Emelia Ankoma had now been credited to the Member of Parliament for the Constituency.
They said the MP is claiming glory for all projects that was undertaken by their then hard-working Municipal Chief executive Lawyer Emelia Abkoma.
According to them their MCE, during her tenure she built some school blocks, CHPS Compound, Constructed of some roads among others but now the Mp is claiming glory for those projects which they said is very disgusting and awkward.
They indicated, the Npp Member of Parliament is misleading the Constituency so they would want him to desist from the Lies And Deceptive Propaganda he is peddling on the Constituency.
Addressing the press briefing organised by Upper Denkyira East Constituency NDC dubbed ” Lies And Deceptive Propaganda By Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie ” the Deputy Communication organizer, Nana Ampadu Gabriel urged the Mp to start finding some benefiting projects for the Constituency because Denkyira they say deserve the best.
He retraited that if the Mp needs project, he should come to NDC they will borrow him more to upgrade his achievements.
Nana Ampadu finally called Dr Festus to come out and show any of his completed projects in the Constituency to the good people of Denkyira and its enclave
On his part, the NDC chairman for the Constituency John Swanzy Arhin made it emphatically clear that the Mp of Parliament for the Constituency and the entire New Patriotic Party had failed the good people of Denkyira and they will show them peper in the upcoming General elections.
Chairman Swanzy added that the MP, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwoffie, when it comes to projects and developments has virtually failed the Upper Denkyira East Constituents.
