Seth Adu-Mensah outlines vision for Tano South
An Independent Parliamentary Candidate in the Tano South Constituency of the Ahafo Region, Seth Adu-Mensah, has pledged to create job opportunities, and empower the country’s younger generation, particularly at Tano South to tackle the growing issues of unemployment in Ghana
In an exclusive interview with the media, Mr Adu Mensah said when given the nod to lead in the constituency as their next MP, his tenure would heavily be a ‘job creation machinery’, with a focus on restructuring the educational system and health services within the constituency.
Mr Adu-Mensah further outlined key pillars of his vision, which include youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, industrialization, and the integration of modern technology to support agricultural activities in Tano South.
He envisions a future where the constituency becomes a hub for innovation and sustainable development.
Technology
The aspiring MP highlighted the significance of information technology, emphasising that his tenure would leverage technology to enhance various aspects of governance and community development.
Additionally, he expressed a commitment to promoting women’s empowerment and providing financial support to startup businesses, aiming to create an environment conducive to economic growth.
Mr Adu-Mensah added that his promises extend to practical measures for supporting small businesses and farmers, including financial assistance and access to modern technology. He further pledged to offer car loans for government workers, taxi, and trotro drivers, recognizing the vital role they play in the local economy.
He also assured to provide scholarships for needy but brilliant students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder academic excellence in Tano South.
