Two Of Rev Owusu Bempah’s Men ‘On The Run’

The police are on the heels of two of the close followers of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the Head Pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International.

The two, whose name are yet to be revealed, were part of men who attacked police officers, who had gone to the church on Sunday, September 12 to effect an arrest over a viral video.

Three of the men, namely Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum, were, however, arrested after the incident.

Their leader, Rev Owusu Bempah, was also arrested.

“The suspects are being detained for further investigations over the creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, the brandishing of a weapon and the assault of some Police personnel,” the police said in a statement on Sunday.

They are set to appear before court today Monday, September 13.

The police have assured that an “impartial” investigation will be conducted into the matter.

The arrests were effected after Rev Owusu Bempah was accused of leading weapon-wielding men to the home of converted fetish priestess Nana Agradaa, now Evangelist Patricia Asiedu. This was captured in the viral video.

Rev Owusu Bempah had told journalists after the incident that no police officer could arrest him.
