Prince Kwabena Owusu is not joining Kotoko – Gold Stars CEO, Kwasi Adu

The Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwasi Adu has refuted claims that their forward, Prince Kwabena Wusu is set to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the January transfer window.

The Striker in an interview after Bibiani Gold Stars was eliminated by Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup apparently confirmed that he is set to join Kotoko for the second round of the Ghana league.

Kwabena Wusu claimed that his move with Asante Kotoko would soon be announced in about 2 or 3 days but the CEO of the club, Kwasi Adu has debunked the claims.

“Prince Kwabena Owusu is not moving anywhere for now. Between employer and employee who has that power? He can only move at the end of the season. He has served us quite well and we want to bless him before he leaves.

Amongst the clubs who have shown interest and leading to sign him is Accra Hearts Oak.

Of course, Kotoko is huge and every player would want to play there but Tony the truth is that he can only leave at the end of the season. Not now” Kwasi Adu said in an interview with Kessben TV.
