ƐBƐ KƆ GOAL DEƐ NKA ƐKƆ CORNER: NPP Youth group calls on Kennedy Agyapong to stand as an independent candidate in the 2024 Elections
An NPP youth wing has called on Kennedy Agyapong to stand as an independent candidate for the upcoming 2024 Ghana presidential elections.
The group named Supporters of Kennedy Agyapong reckons it will be better for the Assin Fosu NPP to win the presidential elections on an independent candidate than for the NDC to beat NPP’s Bawumia in the 2024 elections for John Mahama to be the president.
In view of the above, the group has strongly urged Kennedy to consider their plea despite signing an accord not to break away from the NPP ahead of the NPP presidential primaries.
According to the group, it is only Kennedy Agyapong has the goodwill of the NPP party members and other floating voters in the country.
National Secretary of the group, Naana Ocran speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Kwasi Ntiamoah stressed that without Kennedy most NPP sympathizers and floating voters would not vote in 2024 elections which would lead to NDC winning the 2024 presidential elections.
