BREAKING: Aisha Huang slapped with 4 and half years jail term, fined GH¢48k

En Huang, whose real name is Aisha Huang, was given a four-year, six-month prison sentence.

After serving her jail sentence, Aisha Huang—who has also been fined GH¢48,000—will be deported.

That came about after she was found guilty of carrying out a mining operation without a license, facilitating the participation of people carrying out a mining operation, and employing foreign nationals illegally by the Criminal Division of the Accra High Court, which was presided over by Justice Lydia Osei-Marfo.

In addition, she was found guilty based solely on her own plea to the allegation of entering Ghana while forbidden from returning.

The state, represented by Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Yvonne Atokora Obuobisa, was deemed by the court to have established Aisha’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
