MOMO agent commits suicide after fraud boys defrauded him of GH15,000
A 30-year-old man identified as Larbi had to resort to suicide after he was defrauded of GHC15,000 while working.
Larbi who worked as a Mobilemoney agent at Awutu Senya Bodwiase in the Central Region of Ghana was found hanged in his room in the early hours of Thursday.
According to a report filed by Kessben FM’s Mireku Nyanpong, Larbi did not own the mobile money business. He had a boss he was working for and was paid monthly.
Reports say the boss had asked Larbi to pay the GHC15,000 which led to him being more depressed and led him to end his life.
On Thursday, 30th November 2023, Larbi was found lifelessly hanged in his room after neighbors broke his room door while looking for him.
