Asantehene stormed Berekum to bid farewell to Berekumanhene (More Videos)

To say goodbye to the late Berekumanhene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, arrived in Berekum without incident.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, with his magnificent entourage, departed for Berekummanhene Daasebre Amankona II’s last funeral ceremonies.

At the Berekum Palace, hundreds of people assemble to await the arrival of Asantehene for Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II’s last funeral rites.

It is usual for the Asantehene to be the one to send a Berekumhene their condolences last.

By decision of the Sunyani High Court, the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu, was not allowed to attend the funeral of Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II, the late Paramount Chief of the Berekum Traditional Area.
