Our MP is ‘Chisel’ – Allegations As Some Bosomtwe Delegates Explain Ken Agyapong Vote
A Section of delegates of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) from the Bosomtwe Constituency have explained why they voted for Kennedy Agyapong as against Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to some of the delegates speaking under condition of anonymity, their MP refused to “top-up” the money from the Vice President hence their decision to vote Kennedy Agyapong.
Many people were surprised about the performance of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the Bosomtwe Constituency where the Minister of Education is MP.
Kennedy Agyapong polled 387 while Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia got 592 votes.
The Bosomtwe Constituency also boasts of the regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah and the NPP Regional Chairman Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Some delegates of the say the reason they voted for Kennedy Agyapong is because “the MP’s hand is P.O.P… He didn’t top up the money from Bawumia for us”.
The Bosomtwe MP is one of the names making the rounds as possible running mate options for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 election.
