2026 World Cup: Ghana can still qualify, our problem is how to win away games – Andy Kerm

Kessben Sports pundit, Andy Kerm asserts Ghana still has a chance of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup despite the lackluster start of the qualifying games.

Andy reckons Ghana can come up top in Group I if the flaws in the team are carefully addressed.

Speaking on Kessben TV’s Midfield Action sports show after the Black Stars’ defeat to Comoros on matchday 2 of the 2026 qualifying games, Andy Kerm underscored that Ghana is too experienced to turn the script right with remaining games to turn things around.

“I hold no different position from what many Ghanaians hold about the team’s performance. If you look at the kind of opposition we are playing and our performance of course is not good.

But I reckon Ghana still has a chance to qualify. If you look at the group, Ghana is the only team that has qualified for the World Cup before.

Inasmuch as Mali has a very good team, Ghana can still qualify if we fix our problem. Our problem is how to win away games. I won’t rule Ghana out, If we fix our problem, we can qualify” He said.

Comoros jumped top of the group table with 6 points after beating Ghana 1-0 on Tuesday. Ghana after matchday 2 is on 4th position with 3 points.
