“Since 1967 Israel has been stealing our land” – Palestine Ambassador goes deep on conflicts, thanks Ghana for the support
H.E Abdul Satari, the Palestine Ambassador to Ghana has delved deeper into the Palestine and Israel War noting that it has been a long conflict spanning for close to 60 years.
His Excellency Abdul Satari speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi stressed that Palestine has always wanted peace but the unfair invasion by Israel over the years has been a bane to live peacefully over the years.
He stressed that the unending war is never about Muslims vs Christians and reiterated that Israel is even predominantly Jewish.
According to him, Israel had been stealing their lands since 1967 which has been a trigger for the conflicts over the years.
He said in a bid to address such unfair takeovers Israel has been bombing some of their villages and cities.
He noted that in 1993 under the leadership of H.E Arafat, an agreement pact was signed between the two countries to forever live peacefully but Israel subsequently demonstrated against that triggering another conflict.
He reckons the United States of America has been behind Israel in doing all these but if they want the conflict to end they could easily let peace prevail without producing Israel with the war ammunitions and telling Israel to back off.
The Palestine Ambassador to Ghana took time out to express his heartfelt appreciation to Ghana and other countries who have offered support to them since the conflict resurfaced.
