The Black Stars squad looks beautiful with no strength – Kessben FM Sports analyst, Peter Newton
Sports journalist cum Video Analyst, Peter Newton Lartey has underscored that the current crop of Black Stars players are not hungry enough.
Following the Black Stars’ 4-0 defeat to the United States last Tuesday, the Video analyst sees a few positives in the squad that Ghana is hoping to break the over 40-year AFCON trophy drought with.
The upcoming AFCON in Ivory Coast is just 3 months away.
According to the sports pundit, the squad appears so beautiful with relatively big names but is not hungry enough for the success the nation requires from them.
He asserted that from the posture of the players, there might be a loss of control in the dressing room of the Black Stars.
“I agree that the coach is not up there, but the Black Stars players are not hungry enough. The Ghana spirit is not in them. The squad looks very beautiful, but as a team, there is no strength in the team. I’m not a prophet of doom, but with this, if things do not change, We will go to Ivory Coast and do nothing” He said on Extra Time Sports Joe Laka.
