Put the blame on me: ‘I take responsibility for the poor performance’ – Chris Hughton to Ghanaians

Chris Hughton has apologized for Ghana’s lackluster performance against the United States of America.

In a disastrous match on Tuesday at GEODIS Park, Ghana lost to the USA 4-0.

The United States’ most well-known victory over the Black Stars came in Nashville, Tennessee, thanks to a Gio Reyna double, a Christian Pulisic penalty, and Folarin Balogun’s exquisite finish.

“I’m very sorry, and I take responsibility for the poor performance against the USA,” Hughton said.

Ghana will play Madagascar and Comoros in two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November.
