Social media does not forget, Stop uploading nude pictures & videos – Francisca Oteng Mensah tells the youth

The Deputy Minister for Gender, Children, And Social Protection, Francisca Oteng Mensah has said that the youth especially the ladies are misusing the social media networks instead of its positive side.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, Social Media has emerged as a powerful tool for both business and entertainment. While entertainment may seem like the primary focus, it is crucial to understand that the business aspects of social media far outweigh the entertainment factor.

According to the Kwabre East Member Of Parliament, there are other ways in which social media can benefit individuals and the youth must take full advantage.

She reiterated that the students especially should always use the internet to learn to achieve great in future but not the other way round.

She urged the ladies especially to desist from uploading nude and naked pictures on social media networks. This, she said, can have a negative impact on their future life.

Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah said it is crucial for the youth to recognize that social is not just a means of entertainment or uploading nudes but also a powerful tool for business growth.

She said the Gender, Children And Social Protection ministry has taken it upon itself to create awareness on those attitudes.

Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah who was speaking at the Community Dialogue program organized by the Ministry at Mamponteng in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti region also added that one of the lucrative businesses booming is Children Trafficking so she urged every Ghanaian to be careful about issues of human trafficking irrespective of their background.

She said the Ministry will do its best to minimize its spread.
