It is disrespectful for the minority to describe BOG security as “watchman” – Security analyst, Sadiq Adutwum

A security analyst, Doctor Sadiq Adutwum has slammed the leader of the minority caucus, Cassiel Ato Forson for referring to the head of the security wing, of the Bank of Ghana, Kwame Asare Bediako as a “watchman”.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye, he said it is very disrespectful for the minority to utter such a word.

This follows a protest by a group called Occupy BoG who went to present their petition to the Bank of Ghana, but the governor failed to avail himself on 3rd October 2023.

He However said that the minority could have addressed Mr Asare in a courteous manner.
