Alan’s Supporters will never ditch NPP – Dr Ayew Afriyie
The Ashanti regional coordinator for Bawumia’s campaign team and member of Parliament for Effiduase Asokore, Dr. Nana Yaw Ayew Afriyie has said that Alan’s supporters in the NPP will never exit the party.
According to him, Alan contesting as an independent candidate is his personal decision and not the entire party members. He said the party members would continue to support the party.
He made this known in an interview on Kessben 93.3 FM on 2nd October 2023.
” We have been talking to the strong networks of Alan in Ashanti region for the past one week, and over 80% of them will identify with Dr. Bawumia” he said.
To him, it is of the reason that Bawumia does not take sides and is not biased.
“Bawumia does not believe in Camp ” he reiterated.
He therefore reechoed that, Bawumia is most suitable to secure the majority of the votes among the contenders in the 2024 general elections.
