Alan’s resignation from the NPP was not rightfully done – Jennifer Queen Oforiwaa
The deputy national communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen Oforiwaa says the party is not pleased with Alan Kyeremateng’s statement saying the party did not treat him fairly.
Speaking on Kessben’s Maakye on September 27, 2023, with Mr. Speaker, she stressed that the demeanor with which Alan left the party was uncalled for because it painted a picture of the NPP as not being truthful in all it’s dealings which is not so therefore they are disappointed in him for that.
According to her, the party has nothing against Alan Kyeremateng because he has shown commitment and hard work over the years since he joined the party.
“The general secretary for the NPP Justin Akodua even commended Alan for the numerous contributions he made for the party during the press conference on September 26, 2023 therefore we all appreciate what he has done for the party so far. We empathized with him when his agent was injured” he said.
She added that several party members who contested for party positions but lost still did stay with the party and never gave up so they were expecting Alan to stick with them rather than leaving the party.
“We make hasty decisions and end up regretting after thinking it through therefore we need to always exercise patience in other not to regret our actions in the future” she added.
