2023 Chito awards: 60 best-performing students of KASS awarded brand-new laptops each

Mr Kwame Opoku Sarkodie commonly known as Chito has supported students of Kumasi Anglican Senior High School with 60 brand-new laptops.

The laptops were given to the 60 best-performing students of the school to facilitate their studies to improve their academic performance in the school.

The presentation forms part of Mr Kwame Opoku Sarkodie’s 60th birthday celebration.

At the colorful event to hand over the laptops to the students at the school hall, Lawyer Stephen Boateng, an old student of the school and Otumfour Adontenhene Dr Nana Adu Gyamfi were the guest of honor.

Speaking to the media about the objective of the presentation, Mr. Opoku Sarkodie indicated that the laptops will motivate the beneficiaries to make strides in their studies and encourage their fellow students to improve their academic performance in the school.

Among others, Mr. Opoku Sarkodie underlined that he wants Kumasi Anglican Senior High School to emerge as the winner of the next National Science and Maths Quiz contest. Thus, he urged the management of the school to work hard to make the dream a reality.

Chito noted that, since we are in a technology world, every student deserves a laptop for studies hence, he will implore the government to do the needful.

The headmaster of the school Rev Canon Francis Senchiery commended Mr Opoku Sarkodie for his selfless and continuous assistance to support the Kumasi Anglican Senior High.

He recounted a series of support the school has been benefiting from Mr. Kwame Opoku Sarkodie besides his annual award scheme.

Rev Canon Senchiery pledged that he will make sure the students will make good use of the laptops for it purpose of giving to win the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz.
