Destroying shrines & idols was (crocro the jon) publicity stunt, I paid the owners – Kyiri Abosom

Osofo Kyiri Abosom, the founder of the Life Assembly Worship Center, has admitted that paying shrine owners to have their shrines destroyed was part of his popularity-seeking tactic.

He claims that he paid each individual owner of a shrine or idol not less than GHC 5,000 at the time to obtain their consent to destroy the gods.

The man of God said that the action was merely a PR stunt to gain fame, not a divine command, in an interview with Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana.

He stated that he would charge GHC10,000 if someone approached him since, having achieved the desired level of fame, he is not desperate to destroy anyone’s temple or idol.

He said that he earned the power and that God didn’t grant it to him when questioned why he wanted to utilize the authority God had given him to conduct a local business deal.

Several years ago, Osofo Kyiri Abosom acquired notoriety for being extraordinarily strong and touring the nation to smash idols and temples. Following the formation of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), he took use of his popularity to run for president in 2020 on that party’s ticket and finish third behind the NPP and NDC.

After the 2020 elections, debates arose as a result of GUM’s swift ascension in the political landscape, which enabled it to defeat all minor political parties that had been there for some time.
