Newly appointed communication team member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reacted to claims going around that he is not qualified to serve in the communication team.
Following his appointment as part of the communication team, a section of the supporters called for his removal claiming he has a dented image with past administration.
A section of the Kotoko fans who addressed themselves as Concern Kotoko Supporters released a statement saying he is not qualified for the position due to how he mismanaged the funds from the Kotoko Errea replica sales.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Midfield Action sports show with Sir Joe Laka, Nana Kwame expounded that he actually bought the jerseys and had to resell them clearing his name from any wrongdoing.
He stressed that for him as a true Kotoko fan, he will always support whoever is in charge of the club that’s why he was committed to the Nana Yaw Amponsah’s stewardship.
“I bought the replica jerseys and was selling them. People may have issues with me. I want those people to come and face me instead of going around with such a statement without any identifiable trace.
Some of these people just hate. I have sacrificed for this club. I have worked for this club without pay. We should work hard for the betterment of the club. As a true supporter of the club and a ranking member of the NCC, I will always support whoever is in charge and continue to support whoever will come in the future.
The hatred is too much. The pull him down PHD is too much but I will always support whoever is in” He said.
