Kasoa: Tears flow as tipper truck kills sex worker while fighting for money from client after service
On the Kasoa-Winneba highway, a commercial sex worker was tragically struck and killed by a speeding tipper truck as she engaged in a confrontation to demand payment from an accused client who utilized her service.
According to reports, the deceased identified as Anabel, rented a Taxi from Kasoa to Awutu Bereku to visit one of her clients before she tragically passed away and was unable to make it back home alive.
The reports state that when she arrived to Triple X, she got into a confrontation with the taxi driver, accusing him of having sex with her and refusing to pay.
The taxi driver denied the charge and said it was all a ruse to get out of paying the GH80 taxi cost. The driver then sped off without giving anything to Anabel.
She then demanded payment from onlookers who had intervened to stop the confrontation between her and the driver, who used their action as an excuse to leave the area.
According to eyewitness accounts, Anabel was killed by an Awutu Bereku tipper truck a short time after she began to demand money from onlookers.
The incident happened near Triple X in the Central Region, close to Buduburam.
Sex workers frequently get into physical altercations with customers who later decline to pay for their services; Anabel’s tragic death was the result of one of these encounters.
