“Kumasi is a special place. Left to me alone, all matches should be played here.

The other time when It came out that Kumasi was out of the WorldCup Qualifying games, I even got scared. I had to meet the sports minister so that all the necessary things would be done for the stadium to be certified.

For all nations we play against, when it comes out that they are coming to play in Kumasi, they get scared. They get frightened when they play in Kumasi.

When you come to Kumasi, people support you. You will see the aged, the young, the middle-aged all thronging along on the road to the stadium to watch and support” He said.

Central Africa Republic will take on the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday in an effort to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time if they win. Ghana needs at least a draw to secure qualification to the next AFCON.
