I got the Black Stars management committee appointment through NPP Gov’t, not GFA – Alhaji Grusah sets records straight

Alhaji Grusah, the bankroller of King Faisal FC in Kumasi, has divulged how he joined the Black Stars management team.

The outspoken senior football executive claims that the Ghana Football Association did nothing to assist him because the government was entirely responsible for making his appointment feasible.

“How can Kurt help me? “I got the Black Stars management committee appointment through the government, not from the GFA. I am a politician” He responded in a Youtube interview with Kings TV.

Following the relegation of his team from the 2022–23 Ghana Premier League, Grusah has had a tense relationship with the Kurt Okraku–led GFA and has threatened to file a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Mark Addo, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah (Rtd.), and Alhaji Karim Grusah were appointed as the Black Management Committe by the GFA Executive Committee last year.
