‘We don’t have stars in Kumasi’ – Kwaku Manu explains why (Video)
Kumawood actor and producer, Kwaku Manu has emphatically stated that Kumasi cannot boost of Movie stars.
The aggressive actor speaking on Kessben TV’s Around Town with Koo Fante stressed that there is the need for the Movie industry in Kumasi to cast its net wide in order to make more stars in the Movies industry in Kumasi.
Kwaku expounded that by giving others the platform to showcase their talents and abilities, the industry will create more stars rather than relying on the few big names.
“We have to open our nets wide. Let me tell you, We don’t have stars in Kumasi ! We don’t have stars in Kumasi. We are not plenty. It is not like there is no star here o, Listen to me well.
I’m in this job too, I also do interviews. That’s how I like my interviews. That is why I was telling you to go straight to the point. If it was me I wouldn’t be beating around the bush” He said.
The celebrated actor will on 1st September premiere his latest movie “Who is your Guy” at the SG Mall in Kumasi.
