“It will or may take a miracle to make it….

A few years ago there was a young man who approached me at a supermarket and he was excited seeing me in person, we exchanged numbers and he will occasionally text to check on me. He called one afternoon and appealed to me to help so he gets a job in a private hospital as he’s completed nursing but had been home, not long after he called to tell me he had been roped into nabco. After several months of allowance delay, he became so frustrated he will call for some coins…. Fortunately he was successful with an application and exam outside this country. Family struggled to get him ticket but in the end he ended up in Europe.

Fast forward he’s married with a child and building a six bedroom house in Kumasi…..

What would have become of him if he had remained in this kentry? In fact wapa me ho koraa.

What moral right do I have to advise another one to stay…. you recall learning advantages and disadvantages of brain drain , today the youth are virtually walking with passport in their pockets.

My father tells me how in their time, companies had to come and do fairs on their campus to convince students to choose them…..

Today a graduate can be home for ten years after school…. And when he finds a job…. 800/1000 Cedis…

Why won’t we be in church praying for destiny helpers to come to our aid?

Why won’t we be trying luck with betting companies… ?

why won’t we be depressed ?

Why won’t we be tired saying let’s pray for Our kentry?

Why won’t crime rates increase??

Do we continue with lamentations? Do we continue to hope? Or there has to be radical strategy for the future? If there is no change, this is what our children will grow to meet possibly worsened.?

Not to say others are not making it but for the masses to be in such a situation leaves much to be desired.

But we can only be “ encouraged “ . God bless our homeland Ghana, and make our nation great and strong.” He said.
