MP Joins Chief Justice To Commission New Abirim Circuit Court

The Member of Parliament for Abirim Hon. John Osei Frimpong On 1st August, 2023, joined the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Her Ladyship Gertrude Torkonoo and Birim North DCE, Hon. Remond Nana Damptey to inaugurate a newly constructed Circuit Court in New Abirem.

The New Abirem Circuit Court forms part of the number of Courts project being executed by the Akufo-Addo administration.

The Honourable member was grateful to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, The Chief Justice, District Assembly Common Fund Secretariat and the Judicial Service for their commitment and collective efforts in bringing the project to fruition.The inaugurated circuit court will now serve the people when it comes to the adjudication of cases and spare the constituents from traveling far to seek redress of legal issues.

Dignitaries present at the Commissioning were: Nana Kwasi Amoh Kyeretwie, Chief of New Abirem and Nananom, Divisional Police Commander, District Commanders of all Security Agencies, Officials from the Judicial Service of Ghana, District Coordinating Director and Heads of Departments in Birim North District Assembly, Constituency Executives of the Ruling NPP , Party Faithfuls and Representatives of other political parties.
