NPP Announces New Membership Dues
The National Council (NC) of NPP, the second highest decision-making body of the party, approved new membership dues on July 20th, 2023. These dues apply to party members across the country as well as external branches.
At a press conference held in Accra, Stephen Ayensu Ntim, the Chairman of the NPP, unequivocally declared the party’s intentions to restructure the membership dues.
The ultimate aim is to fortify the financial position of the party, amplify the membership base, and enhance the welfare of its members.
The party’s constitution enjoins all members to pay dues and also make donations to sustain the party and ensure its growth.
“NPP, when we say a member in good standing, we are referring to a party member who has been paying his or her dues fully as required. This new membership dues structure is more convenient, transparent, and efficient. The membership dues mode of payment and procedures ensure accountability.”
The dues categories are as follows, monthly membership dues are in four categories. Bronze category where you pay two cedis per month. So that category you pay five cedis per month. Gold category, you pay eight cedis a month, and in the platinum category, you pay 10 cedis and each one has these benefits.
According to Chairman Stephen Ayensu Ntim, as a way of motivating members to pay their dues. There will be benefits the details will be communicated to the general public soon by the party.
The party members may choose to contribute substantially towards the progress of the party at different levels, regional and national levels. The platform also allows the collection of the contributions of all patrons at each level.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR THE FOUR CATEGORIES;
- Bronze category – ₵ 2.00 per month
- Sliver Category – ₵ 5.00 per month
- Gold Category – ₵ 8.00 per month
- Platinum Category – ₵ 10.00 per month.
“Aside from the membership dues, our party’s constitution also talks about Patrons. These are individual party members who may choose to contribute substantially towards the progress of the party at different levels from constituency, regional, and national. The platform also allows for the collection of the contributions of all patrons at each level.
To him, this was to help create the necessary awareness and to sensitize party members on this new dues payment system and called on the media to massively support the party in this regard.
