Former Kotoko defender Amos Frimpong who played in Guinea cautions Dreams FC about Milo FC
Amos Frimpong, a former Asante Kotoko defender, has warned Dreams FC that their opening CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Milo FC of Guinea will be challenging.
In the first preliminary round of the competition, Dreams FC, which is competing in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time, will play Guinea’s Milo FC de Kankan.
Former player of top-tier side CI Kamsar in Guinea, Frimpong, has cautioned the FA Cup champions of Ghana.
“They have quality. So, if Dreams FC want to advance to the next stage of the competition, they have to prepare well.
“Dreams FC can get a good result against them because they will be playing that game in Conakry which is not Milo’s favorite ground.
“In terms of football, they are a very good side and very gifted just like Ghana. Their style of play is quite similar to that of ours in Ghana but they are more aggressive,” He said on Kessben TV.
The first preliminary round is slated to take place from August 18 to 20 for first leg matches and from August 25 to 27 for second leg matches.
