Alhaji Akambe denies recruiting players for coaches at Hearts of Oak without their consent

Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Akambe has refuted claims that BoD and management of the club have been signing players for the club without the consent of their coaches.

Accra Hearts of Oak are currently without a coach but are still negotiating with various players on the market.

The club on Thursday announced the signing of left-back Liventus Arthur from Tamale City even though there is no coach at the club.

Akambe speaking on Kessben TV rubbished claims of recruiting players for the team without the consent of the coaches.

Alhaji stressed that most of these reportage are false claims from the new media which he describes as the Latter-day Saint sports journalists.

“Let me tell you, about 10 years ago, was it like this when there was no Whatsapp. Now everyone feels if he or she has 10 or 2 cedis data bundle, the person will just post anything.

Meanwhile, if you ask him or her where he got the story from the person would not be able to authenticate” Alhaji Akambe on Kessben TV
