Hundreds displaced after Wednesday’s downpour in Manso Amenfi
Following a heavy fall of rain in Manso Amenfi on June 21, 2023, over a hundred individuals were forced to flee from their homes.
The victims were forced to spend the rest of the day in nearby homes and churches that were unaffected by the rain.
Agyamfra a reporter with Kessben FM in Manso reported that following the intense rain, roughly 5 dwellings were entirely demolished.
About 10 houses were also soaked with rain which made dwellers practically impossible to live.
The National Disaster Management Organisation has since been at the venue assisting in evacuating the victims and providing the needed support.
