Medeama crowned 2022/23 Ghana Premier League champions (Video)
Following a 3-0 victory over Tamale City on Sunday, Medeama SC has won the Ghana Premier League for the first time.
A heated atmosphere helped Medeama to a resounding home victory as Akoon Park was packed to the rafters.
After winning, Medeama finished the season five points ahead of Aduana Stars and six points ahead of Bechem United, who finished third.
At the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC played to a scoreless draw, and both teams finished the season in the top four.
