I will rate our season 8 over 10 – Asante Kotoko coach, Abdulai Gazale
The interim coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Abdulai Gazale has rated the club’s 2022-23 season performance as excellent.
Abdulai Gazale with a game to wrap up the season is optimistic his side will finish second in the league despite currently lying the 4th on the league table with 51 points.
He stressed that injuries have been a major factor as to why the club could not defend the league title.
“So many things happened in the season and definitely we had up and downs. I will rate Kotoko 8 over 10.
Last year we were 1st and this year we are trying to end the league at the second position. For me, 8 over 10 should be the right rating.
The team is not the Kotoko team of last season. We had much injuries and the injuries have been an avoiding factor of not winning the league” He said.
