Final Premier League table 2022/23 predicted

By dinner time on Sunday, we’ll know the final standings for the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Though the title and top-four races have proven to be anti-climactic in the end with both being wrapped up before the last day, there are still two relegation places to be decided and a final spot in Europe up for grabs.

Only one of Everton, Leicester City or Leeds United will avoid the drop, while two of Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford will end the day knowing they didn’t quite do enough to secure Europa Conference League qualification.

We at 90min have predicted how the final day will go in terms of results, but let’s have a look at how the table would then look when all is said and done.

Ooft. It’s going to be tight.

So let’s tuck into the thick of the relegation battle – Everton won’t have it easy against their bogey team Bournemouth, but a draw against them will be enough to stay in the EPL provided Leeds don’t hammer Tottenham to tip the goal-difference scales.

Leicester, for all of their talent and for all of West Ham having an eye on the Europa Conference League final, have showed so few signs of life of late that it would be egregious to expect them to win under such pressure.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Tottenham could stumble in their respective fixtures and therefore open the door to Brentford to nab the final European spot – with Manchester City looking ahead to two finals, it’s a more than conceivable outcome.

Manchester United should have just enough to finish third ahead of Newcastle, who will compile the misery on Chelsea one last time before season’s end.
