World Cup Referee Shows 10 Red Cards In Cup Final In Argentina (Video)

A cup final in Argentina had to be abandoned because there were not enough players left on the field.

Referee Facundo Tello showed 10 red cards during Sunday’s Trofeo de Campeones final between Boca Juniors and Racing Club.

Both teams were reduced to 10 players in stoppage time at the end of 90 minutes when Sebastian Villa and Johan Carbonero were dismissed following an argument.

The game ended 1-1 in normal time, so extra time was required.

Boca went down to nine men 10 minutes into extra time when Alan Varela picked up his second yellow card.

But the real chaos began in the 118th minute after Carlos Alcaraz scored to put Racing 2-1 up.

Racing midfielder Alcaraz celebrated in front of the Boca fans, before being surrounded by angry opposition players.
