No Ghana premier league player has GHC50K in his bank account – Richard Osei Agyemang (Video)
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Richard Osei Agyemang says no player playing Ghana’s topflight league can boast of $10,000 in his bank account.
According to the former Ashgold player, you can play in the Ghana league for 5 years and would still not be able to earn Ghc50,000 over the years.
Osei Agyemang speaking on Kessben TV indicated that during his playing days in the Ghana premier league with top clubs like Asante Kotoko, the money he had in his bank account was not close to GHC50,000.
“No footballer playing in the Ghana premier league has GHC50,000 in his bank account. No one I repeat. If any player has that money may be the money does not belong to him or he got that from elsewhere but not from football.
You can play between 2-5 years in the league and there is no way you can get GHC50,000″ He said.
Osei Agyemang recently completed a move to the Indian club Real Kashmir. According to him, his move to play in India was informed by money.
