W/R: Man salivating for coconut dies after falling from cocoanut tree he climbed
After falling from a coconut tree at Twifo Nsueam in Hemang Lower Denkyira District in the central area, a young guy named Panin, also known as Enkoyie passed away.
Nana Ayebeng, the Odikro of Twifo Nsueam, said to our reporter Kojo Attakorah Amaniampong Jnr that on March 1,2023, the community went to communal labor for the community self-help of building a new teachers’ quarters.
Once they closed, the young boy Panin, also known as Enkoyie climbed a coconut tree in order to pluck some of the fruits but unfortunately, he fell from the roof and landed helplessly on the ground.
They hurried him to the Twifo Praso government hospital but sadly he passed away the following day.
The incident was reported to the Twifo Hemang District Police, and the deceased was taken to the Twifo Praso government mortuary for an autopsy.
