Radio show host attacked during live radio by NDC executive (Video)
Sadiq Abubakari Gariba, a radio host for Dagbon Radio, was attacked while conducting a live show in the Northern Region.
Former Deputy Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the area, Hardi Pagazaa, attacked him after storming the location and igniting a fight.
He was seen trying to drag the broadcaster out of the studio while grabbing the broadcaster by the neck in the video stream.
As the presenter resisted the man, the altercation became more heated.
Speaking with the media after the sad event, Sadiq Abubakari Gariba stated that he had begun the program with an audio clip of the former NDC officer criticizing him and had chosen not to respond.
“Before I started the show I played a tape in which he mentioned me on a sister station. So I said, ‘No, this guy is not worth commenting on. I will not comment on him because he does not seem to be credible, and I do not want to discuss such people on my show,” He said on Joy FM.
According to Sadiq, he had since informed the police about the situation.
