Kumasi: 51-year-old woman crashed to death as trailer truck run over her (Video)
At Dr. Mensah Market near Kejetia in the Ashanti metropolis of Kumasi, a trailer truck hauling used clothing plowed into pedestrians, killing a 51-year-old cabbage vendor.
According to eyewitness reports, the vehicle, whose brakes allegedly failed, also struck a parked taxi before running over the vendor on the side of the road.
Akua Serwaa, the deceased’s body, was mutilated by the truck following the horrifying accident.
The deceased was a resident of Antoa in the Kwabre East neighborhood who typically made a living by selling cabbage at Dr. Mensah Market, according to the information amassed.
The deceased’s dismembered body was later sent to the mortuary of the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
