Social media really helped my radio career – DJ KA narrates his Radio Journey (Video)

DJ KA, a charismatic radio host, has chronicled his radio career while highlighting how social media has been beneficial to him.

Speaking on the maiden edition of Kessben FM’s new afternoon radio show, Krenkren2Krankran, the enjoyable radio presenter credited the influx of social media to his rapid growth in the radio industry.

He revealed that his first radio stint was with campus-based radio station Radio Lynk at Kumasi Polytechnic a decade ago where he hosted a musical show from 10pm to 12am.

After a relatively short stint with Radio Lynk, KA moved to a new environment where he hosted an afternoon show but unfortunately, it was an online radio station that had less reach.

His works at the online radio station in Kumasi proved its worth as he was recommended and got his first professional radio job with a traditional FM station in Akumadan with Time FM.

After a thoroughly good stint with Time in Offinso, KA moved to Kumasi where he started a new radio chapter with Silver FM in Bantama.

DJ KA has over the years worked to become a toast for radio and online music lovers through his music breakdowns.

He credits social media for his rapid growth over the last few years.

The former Silver FM presenter joined Kessben FM on 1st May 2023 where he will be hosting an afternoon radio show Krenkren2Krankran every weekday between 2pm-4pm.
