Inspector Twumasi confesses in court to killing Maadwoa, says he had no intention to kill but what happened is between him & God
Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, who is accused of murdering Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa in Adum-Kumasi, has confessed to killing the 26-year-old woman.
On Tuesday, April 25, his confession was included in the prosecution document, which was read aloud in open court.
In court, it was revealed that the accused committed the crime with a service handgun.
When asked whether he had anything to say, despite the fact that he was not allowed to plead guilty or not, Inspector Twumasi answered, “I had no intention to commit the crime; what happened is between me and God.”
He has been remanded into police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, May 30.
