Oduro Sarfo apologizes to Stephen Appiah
Nana Oduro Sarfo, an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association [GFA], has apologized to Stephen Appiah for his remark about his lack of knowledge in football administration.
Ghanaian football fans have slammed the football administrator for advising former players, especially Appiah, to improve their education in order to take roles in football administration.
Mr Oduro Sarfo’s words came in response to former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah’s comments about football administration in Ghana.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Oduro Sarfo noted that he has since apologized to the former captain and all the members of the Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG).
He expounded that his comment was misconstrued by many who felt his comment was an insult to the ex-Black Stars captain.
Oduro stressed that he was only advising the former Juventus player and after being misinterpreted, he will never give such advice again.
