National Cathedral: You had the idea but not really written that you will build it – Bishop Kantanka sends strong biblical message to Akufo Addo

Bishop Kantanta has related the story of David in the bible to issue out a strong message for Ghana’s president regarding his desire to build a national cathedral for the country.

The head pastor of the Bishop Kantanka ministries delivering a sermon on Church Bells on Kessben TV underscored that David had 4 main things he wanted to achieve when he become King thus making Jerusalem the capital, establishing the kingdom through conquest, Bringing the ark to Jerusalem and build a very big temple in Jerusalem to honor God but with his last wish, God told him the “David you are not the one to build the church”

He noted David made a lot of preparation for the temple however David was not the one to build the temple.

According to Bishop, God said the next generation will be the one to build the temple which he had dreamt of it.

Relating the David story to President Akufo Addo dream’s about building a national cathedral, Bishop reiterated that it is not worth the controversy surrounding the building of a National cathedral at all costs, not in the face of the economic woes of the country.

“If God has an agenda that a national cathedral will be built to honor him, it does not mean that one particular generation will have to do it. We have to start thinking about some of these things because if we don’t take care of some of these projects will overburden us.

Under the circumstance the country finds itself, can we seriously justify that? David could not build the temple, his son Solomon came to build it. As I end my sermon today I want to put emphasis on this principle, the principle of the mountain view, let’s look at it well” He said.
