Wasn’t it under the same FA that we won the league? Let’s stop accusing the FA of our own flaws – Bernard Ziel
Former BoD member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Bernard Ziel has called on the Asante Kotoko fraternity to desist from blaming almost everyone for the woes of the club.
In recent months, the Ghana Football Association has been widely accused by supporters of the Kumasi football club including some management members of the club who have all joined to accuse the GFA of scheming an agenda against their club.
According to the fans and some of the management of the club, the Kurt Okraku-led administration at the Ghana FA has been appointing bad referees to officiate their games.
Apart from this allegation, the vibrant Kumasi Sports media has also not been left from the accusations regarding the bad ran of the club.
Some supporters and management members of the club reckon a section of the media in Kumasi has agenda against them which they juxtapose has been harming the club.
The former BoD member of the club, Bernard Ziel speaking on Kessben FM rubbished the assertion, reiterating the notion of the GFA working against Kotoko is invalid.
He stressed that, was it not under the same GFA that Asante Kotoko won the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.
Bernard encouraged that the people at the whelm of affairs to accept responsibility and take pragmatic decisions to help the club.
On the low stadium attendance the club is currently facing, the former BoD member tasked the management of the club to advertise well the games through the traditional media.
